I am truly blessed with a life more beautiful than one I ever could have imagined. I owe endless thanks to my amazing family, friends, and dear clients who continuously support my limefish business. You are the reason I have a career I’m passionate about.
I married the ridiculously cute and ever-so-sweet Army guy I met in a pub one Valentine’s weekend and can’t imagine life without him! He’s been such amazing supporter and motivator for my business and I can honestly say, I wouldn’t be where I am if it weren’t for him. And, I need to say a giant thank you since he gifted me my first ‘super nice’ camera! I don’t think he realized the monster he’d be creating.
We welcomed our beautiful daughter, Charlotte Marie, into the world on St. Patrick’s Day 2015 and our lives have been forever changed in the best way possible! I’m loving every minute of mommy-life and feel so incredibly fortunate that I’m able to spend most days home watching her grow (way too quickly!).
I have crazy tendencies of working until the sun comes up.
At any given time you can probably spot paint on my clothes, my hands or in my hair.
To me, a perfect date night includes wine, pizza, and reruns of The Office.
I’m slightly obsessed with succulents, the color teal, and peanut butter.
I have two tattoos and have jumped out of one plane.
If I didn’t own yoga pants, I don’t know what I’d wear.
My house is a zoo of rescue pets:
our petite kitty Miss Leo thinks she’s a squirrel,
our wise and skittish pup Layla,
and mr. lovey-dovey 24-toed cat Buddy thinks he’s a dog.
My art passion stems from early childhood, and my business slowly developed when I began selling artwork in Junior High (if you want a good laugh, ask to see my first business card – eek!). Simply put, my business is more than my full-time job. Limefish Studio is part of who I am, and it’s a strong piece of my every day.
Although I live near Charlottesville, Virginia, I’m proud to say I’m an East Coast, West Coast, and International Photographer! I ship artwork internationally as well! I’m fortunate to have training in a wide variety of areas and feel they collectively speak to my artistic style. I received my Bachelor’s in Graphic Design from Longwood University in 2008 and my Master’s in Art Education from Boston University in 2012. I was thrilled to take advantage of photography studies at both Universities (as well as at various other workshops).
