LOCATION: home studio in O’Fallon, MO (near Dardenne Prairie City Hall)
AGES: 6+
Parents are welcome to join us, relax in your car, walk the neighborhood or run errands, etc. — whatever you’re most comfortable with and whatever you think will be most beneficial for your child’s learning style.
All lessons include all supplies. 😉
When a bundle is purchased, your first session will include a sketchbook! This will be used for some brainstorming, games and various exercises. It will be brought back to each lesson.
My goals are to explore new projects, new techniques and new art materials together, but also to inspire creative confidence. This is soooooo important for children. One of my favorite things about art is the powerful therapeutic aspects (my grad school thesis was centered around color theory and emotions). Helping children to express themselves through art, work through frustrations and/or perfectionist tendencies, and learn to dedicate time for creativity will provide them personal relaxation techniques for a lifetime.
On the first lesson, we’ll discuss THEIR personal goals, interests and wishful projects (as well as any parent hopeful goals as well). I also have a few games that will help me evaluate them to help determine and customize their future lessons accordingly. 😉

SCHEDULING
Lessons are based on availability, and payment officially reserves spots on my calendar. The frequency of lessons is completely up to you! Most families choose weekly, however if you prefer bi-weekly or monthly, just let me know.

ABOUT YOUR TEACHER:
Hello! I’m Danielle 🙂 I have a passion for all things creative (and have ever since I was in preschool when I declared I wanted to be an artist!). I hold a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Longwood University as well as a Master’s in Art Education from Boston University. Prior to having my first kiddo, I taught preschool art at a private school in Charlottesville, VA for a few years with 50+ students each week. I’ve continued my art passion running Limefish Studio full time since 2012 with a fun assortment of custom artwork, branding and design projects, photography and art classes. I greatly enjoy the flexibility of working while also being able to stay home with my 3 children. I’m constantly seeking opportunities to help others embrace their own creativity!
