I’m often asked for advice in planning a styled portrait session and after sharing some of my thoughts and inspiration,
I always love seeing what my clients come up with! Their creativity always amazes me. 

This adorable family brought along some of the cutest props! And, by starting the session off with a little tree decorating activity, 

it gave their sweet boy a chance to warm up to me and the camera (he was NOT a fan of me the first few minutes we met… lol). 

Throw in a red “ball,” a few silly songs and a little bit of peek-a-boo and his shyness slowly melted.
