This wedding!!!! I seriously cannot put into words how special this one is to me. First off, the sweet beautiful bride is my sorority little sister, and I was eager to meet her groom after hearing all the awesome stories about him. I knew instantly he was a true keeper. These two are so insanely adorable together, and I love how much laughter they shared on their wedding day. They are both so thoughtful, genuine, and caring and it was truly reflected during their wedding at Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards.
Megan’s timeless romantic style was woven beautifully throughout her entire day. From the gorgeous gown she helped customize to be uniquely her own to the DIY succulent favors, she thought of everything. Her and David truly made each of their guests feel cherished. With the help of their amazing coordinator Karla Ott, the day was fairytale-perfection. I was so honored to not only be their photographer, but to also help with a number of custom projects including the hand-painted watercolor invitations, bridal hanger, painted guestbook globe, stained ceremony quote sign, as well as the framed program, menu, and seating chart designs. While working on each project, I felt like I was getting a mini preview of the day, but I still managed to be absolutely blown away when I saw everything tied together. I need to give a special applause to Blue Ridge Floral Design for their absolutely incredible work and to Favorite Cakes for the most gorgeous cake I’ve had the joy of photographing! CONGRATULATIONS Megan & David!!! I will never forget the joy of your first look, the laughter and happy shock during gift exchanges, the bugs, “what was that sound?,” and the sweetest wine box ceremony I’ve ever witnessed. Hearing the stories and speeches everyone shared made my heart so happy, and I have no doubt you two will have an incredibly journey as husband and wife. And, thank you for letting me steal you away for five minutes of sunset portraits because those are seriously my favorites…..ever. You are such a beautiful couple inside and out, and I’m honored to have you both in my life.
