This little cutie pie and I go way back…. to before she was even born. I had the joy of capturing Maggie and John’s maternity photos when they were expecting sweet little Lily and then later took Lily’s newborn photos as well as family portraits before the holidays when Lily was around 9 months. Now (despite my 39 weeks largely preggo self), I was thrilled at the opportunity for another quick photo session to document Lily’s one year milestone! We opted for a simple setup at the family’s home for comfort and so we could include some of Lily’s favorite things – mommy & daddy (of course), her red radio flyer, elephant scooter, and her two puppy pals!

And… this sweet family just announced they’re expecting baby #2 in July!!! Such exciting news!! And, I’m super impressed that they’ve decided not to find out the gender! What an incredibly joyous surprise that will be, and Lily is going to be one fantastic big sister!

A few little tickles and we got to see that priceless toothy smile. 
Such a little model baby! She needed a break from posing to run around with her radio flyer… but not without peeking back first! LOVE this one of her.
As expected, she was occasionally unimpressed with my smile tactics, but I just adore this contemplative one below. Oh my – those eyes!!!
It was awesome watching her light up and giggle with daddy … and entertaining when she pulled his hair! And now a little wardrobe change to better race around on her beloved radio flyer again!
