I love meeting new clients! This sweet couple and their adorable one year son Harrison are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their newest family member – baby Emmett! We actually postponed our first scheduled photo session due to snow…. and then go figure, right before our rescheduled session date, it snowed again! We decided to brave the cold and make the most of the beautiful scenic backdrop out at King Family Vineyard in Charlottesville.

Ah! These two are my absolute favorites from the session.
They loved the chalkboard idea from a previous maternity session, but we decided to add a little twist and I actually created this 12×12 “Big Brother” canvas as a photo prop. It still offers the chalkboard feel, but the design remains as a permanent piece of artwork rather than smudging away (these are now available in my shop here too!).
Cutie pie Harrison was such a champ in the cold! Just look at that adorable smile!
…. and because we all know how much kids LOVE to fly!
