I am so proud of my creative students!
In this week’s art class, we continued to talk about fall and the different shapes, colors, and textures of leaves.
Then read this quick and fun little book before beginning our projects.

They loved seeing different creatures and animals made out of leaves!
Each table had an assortment of leaves to choose from, and students were encouraged to decide which color and shapes would work best for their idea. They also considered their paper color depending on the “environment” of where their own “Leaf Man” might live. After adding a bit of glue and extra details with crayons and markers… their masterpieces were complete! In the end I recall seeing several butterflies, pumpkins, bunnies, a bat in a cave, and even a motorcycle!
