DIY Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade

I’ve been a longtime fan of the Sweetened Passion Tea Lemonade from Starbucks, and recently made my own version at home that,
in my opinion, is equally as delicious! And, much less expensive overall.
YUM!
WHAT YOU NEED:
  • Lemonade: Any kind will do, but I opted for Minute Maid – Just 15 Calories
  • Passion Tea: I used the Tazo brand
  • Sweetener: Again, this is your preference, but I used Splenda’s Nectresse (all natural and so good!)
  • Hot Water: I used my lovely turquoise tea kettle
  • Cold Water
  • Pitcher: At least 3 quarts!
  • Measuring Cup: I used my glass Pyrex measuring cup
  • Stirring Spoon
  • Glass, Ice, Straw: Up to you of course! I use straws for EVERYTHING (even hot coffee, haha). I recently bought these reusable plastic straws from World Market and love them!
STEPS:
  • Make Passion Tea according to package instructions.
    • Place 1 filter bag in pitcher
    • Add 1 quart (4 cups) boiling water
    • Steep at least 5 minutes
    • Add 1 quart (4 cups) cold water
  • Add lemonade to pitcher. This is to your liking, but I suggest 1 quart (so that it’s 2 parts passion tea // one part lemonade).
  • Pour into glass.
  • Add sweetener to your liking (I enjoy 1/2 a packet per full glass). If you’d rather sweeten the whole pitcher, by all means do so, but I prefer to leave it unsweetened in case I decide to share with others 😉 That’s a big if.
  • Stir it up, and enjoy!
  • Sadie Calamaco - Your are right on target
It was so good my kids loved it!!
