Right before the holidays, I had the true pleasure of meeting a sweet couple in Richmond, Virginia to take newborn photos of their precious 10-day of daughter Tessa. I’m a little late with showing photos here on the blog, but non-the-less, I hope you enjoy.
I have an assortment of blankets, cloths, and props that I bring to each session, but I love when parents have their own special items they want to incorporate. Each personal item then makes the photo even more special. I’m in love with the colors and texture of this piece here… and look how peaceful she is!

Like I mentioned, this was before the holidays… so a Santa hat only seems right. Hopefully you can’t tell that it’s WAY too big for her. We sneakily tucked it under until the extra fabric disappeared.
10 days old … and sooooo sleepy.
