Two of my dear friends are soon to be married, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to play a part during this special time for them. Back in July, I took their engagement photos! We wandered ODU’s campus (where they met) and captured moments at their most treasured places. In case you missed these before Here are a few of my favorites….
Fast Forward…. a few months and it was time for bridal shower planning! After we decided on a Parisian theme (for her love of Paris), I was thrilled to design postcard invitations. I decided to sneak in a little personal symbolism by adding two lion statues beside the fountain in my illustration.

Another friend painted these adorable Beinvenue & Bon Appetit signs!
And this beautiful wine glass was gifted to the bride.
I was determined to make themed cookies from scratch and try my hand at making icing and piping. I bought this Eiffle Tower cookie cutter and was shocked when it arrived. I didn’t realize how gynormous it would be (3″ x 5″), but it was probably for the best…. the details would have been near impossible on a small cookie. Aside from the blue icing being a lot lighter than I wanted, I’m pretty pleased with the results. And they tasted OH SO GOOD!
I also designed little Trivia cards that asked, “How well do you know the happy couple?”
We also played the hilarious game of Toilet Paper Gowns…. each table had to choose a “bride” and then had 5 minutes to craft the best wedding dress. Our lovely (true) bride-to-be had her photo taken with each “bride” and then chose a winner!
Me and the lovely Bride-to-Be 🙂 I’m looking forward to being by her side on the big day! And then, three months later, she’ll stand beside me at my wedding too 🙂
