ALL HOLIDAY PARTY no. 2 (2011)

On Saturday, Mach 26th, we hosted our
ALL HOLIDAY PARTY no. 2!
It was soooooo much fun!!!!
Basically, the way this developed was after a New Year’s Eve party, I was a bit bummed that it would be a while before the next “holiday” soooo, I figured why wait! Why not see what happens when we combine them ALL into one night 🙂 just picture the possibilities…
The details are simple: *pick ANY holiday you want… commit to it… dress for it… BE your holiday!
Here’s the orginal doodle I created prior to the first party!
This year, I decided to finally create my own cupcake toppers (which I’ve been wanting to try for a while now)! I used the wonderful Wacom Intuos4 Large Pen Tablet to draw the pictures, and this little device is quickly becoming my NEW best friend!

chocolate covered pretzels! yum!
Rice Krispie Treat “Popsicles”
Back by popular request… my family’s SUMMER PIZZA!
(crescent roll base + cream cheese mixture + lots veggies)

While brainstorming something for the 4th of July, I came up with these super easy DIY Flags!
I found some red, white & blue pipecleaners – then just cut & twist.
4th of July Jello
(jello + strawberries + whipped cream + blueberries)
AWESOME ATTENDEES: Cinco de Mayo Guy & Gal (me), Santa, 2 St. Patty’s Day Gals, 3 Easter Bunnies,
420 Guy* & Gal*, 3 Halloweens (Flapper Girl*, Gangsta Guy*, & Willie Nelson*) Labor Day*, Boxing Day,
Mustache March, Black Friday, Opening Day, New Years, and Flag Day!
*sadly not pictured here 🙁
Party Remnants on 365 Project
“Party Remnants”
The last two photos made for very festive additions to my 365 photo project! Thank you to all my lovely friends who joined and helped make this year’s party another fun success!
I’m already looking forward to next year!

  • dm designs - Thanks!!! It is definitely a fun party, and I definitely plan to continue the tradition. The highlights this year included late-night pin the tail on the donkey & easter eggs filled with dares (some awarded Christmas presents) For example, “Give a present to the best costume”….
