Wahoo! I’ve made it to the end of month one for my 365 Days of Photos Project and am quite pleased with my progress so far. I’m learning a LOT about my lovely new camera ( Canon EOS Rebel T1
) and feel my first 31 photos have some great diversity. I’ll admit some days were much harder than others and a few times I found myself desperately looking for inspiration. The 365 website is better than I even imagined it would be. Everyone is incredibly supportive – it’s basically a little family community where people bounce around ideas and share unique tricks and tips. Although I haven’t participated in all of them, I love the weekly theme contests (for example theme-blue, theme-mid air, theme-hope). It’s a great source for extra inspiration. Also, it’s exciting to know that word is spreading about the project (it was actually featured on the news here in Charlottesville!). Overall, I’m very pleased to be on this little journey and can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2011… one month down, eleven to go!
